Pastor's Book Set Project
SIM International (Serving in Mission) has regular literacy projects around the world. One of these projects is called the Pastors Book Set project (PBS). Many different countries benefit from the PBS, which is published in a variety of languages.
Service d'Instruction et Mobilisation benefited from this project and many Mauritian leaders and pastors benefited as well. We had three different conferences where these books were made available. Guest speakers from South Africa and Zambia spoke at the conferences, which was a blessing to all.

It was wonderful to see all the denominations worshiping our great God together at the conference on Sunday. It is time to break down those denominational barriers. It was really a blessing. The church in Mauritius really needed to hear that message you preached. You are a blessing. I want to be a good servant of Christ and I believe that you can help me reach my goal.
I had to make a huge effort to attend the conference. That very day I learned that I had to replace a colleague at work whose cousin had died in a fatal accident. But I managed to receive permission to leave work at 12h00. When I got into my van I saw the window at the driver’s side does not function. I went to the electrician to fix this and afterwards I managed to visit the deceased’s family. At 14h00 I was ready to come to the conference. But halfway on my way, my van broke down at the traffic light. This caused a traffic jam for 20 minutes. I was feeling very tired by then, but in spite of all this I managed to arrive at the conference on time. The enemy did his best to prevent me from coming, but the Lord was there to open the way for me. Glory to God.
Please pray for me. I have applied to attend your workshop on worship in October. I am eagerly awaiting this workshop. This time I believe there will not be any obstacles in my way. I want to learn to worship God and offer my body as a living sacrifice to God.

I would like to thank you for the conference held in Curepipe and the wonderful message which addressed a real need in the Christian church in Mauritius. The books are a wonderful gift and will enrich my ministry. I have already started to read and feed my soul. We will continue to pray for SIM and hope that more and more churches will open their doors and benefit from your ministry, because as you pointed out: there is a time for everything! It has a great privilege to attend the conference on 4 September. You and your Team have done and is still doing a great job to spread and equip us to better serve the Lord. Please continue this good job. Your reward will be greater in eternity.
